According to the popular philosophy, the predestined are designated by the destination to do, enjoy or suffer what happens to us in life. What is the destination?. According to some, does not exist. According to others, it is a force blind all controls it and goes even beyond the will of God or gods. According to others, it is the will of God or the gods that is projected in the universe as a designed plan that necessarily takes place. Then what happens with human freedom?. What we do is already decided and scheduled or we decide it? This is the eternal philosophical problem of " freedom or determinism " I to my former students were told that we can not prove that we are free, but we do have some indications that indicate us, such as: the psychological consciousness that we can choose, the moral conscience that compels us to act in a certain direction, (Kant ) and the existence of laws and punishments provided for by the society in which we live. So we are probably free in our actions always counting on the circumstances, we do not always control, space, time, culture, economy...Predestination also has a religious meaning for believers, especially in Protestantism, in the sixteenth century, on the forecast of the beyond: personal wealth was a sign of be predestined to eternal salvation. Is it for this reason by which Protestant countries have traditionally been richer than Catholic countries?
